i applied in columbia, ms. last monthand applied because of pregnancy

You can call (601)825-0477, you can ask them or they can give you another number but you dont have to go, you can also call the place where you applied they should be able to tell you the status of your application which takes about 4 weeks

they will mail it you, an approval letter most of the time at least in NY it can take up to 60 days to get it, you can call the department and get connected to a case worker, they can give you the numbers if you need to go to the doc, also they usually start the coverage from the date you applied so will pay for services you recieved in that time frame... I would call dont go down there you will wait for hours trust me... .should be able to find a number on the internet look for the MS dept of human services http://www.dom.state.ms.us/body_contacts/body_body_contacts.html the numbers on this page.

You'll have to call the Department of Job and Family Services and ask. You should have recieved information either way by now. Call right away.

YOU SHOULDNT HAVE TO GO ANYWHERE YOU SHOULD GET A LETTER IN THE MAIL LETTING YOU KNOW IF YOU WERE APRROVED OR NOT ....IM SURPRISED YOU WERE NOT TOLD THAT AT THE TIME OF APPLYING IT TAKES ANYWHERE FROM ABOUT 3-6 WEEKS BEFORE YOU HEAR ANYTHING

WHEN I GOT APPROVED THEY SENT ME A LETTER SAYING I WAS APPROVED. THEN I HAD TO GO GET A CARD AT THE REV. OFFICE. BUT I GOT MINE IN A DIFFERENT STATE. YOU COULD ALSO CALL THE OFFICE AND TALK TO YOUR CASE WORKER.

They will write you a letter letting you know that you have been approved.
