for all the girls with boyfriends, does your guy ever try to change you? as in, if there's something about your personality that he doesn't like and wants to be different, does he confront you about it? my boyfriend loves me dearly, but thinks i should be more outspoken and talk more with other people. i'm a shy girl. i'm totally fine with him, but he thinks i should talk more to other people. he says i haven't seen the full extent of his love towards me cuz of the way i am. what do you think???

well, trying to change someone can turn into a bad thing, but if you think he wants you to change for the better, you should give it a try, there's no harm in it anyway. honestly, i think he's a keeper. he;s not that jealou or insecure. he wants you to socialize more. not like other guys who freaks out whenever they see their girl with a random guy.

I think he really loves you so he sees the side of you that he loves and he wants to share it with the world!! I wouldn't necessarily say he is trying to change you...I think he is trying to bring out the real you.
I have a similar situation because I too am very shy at first when meeting people...and my boyfriend is constantly trying to get me to go out withall these people I dont know...and it's not to change me, its to enhance my life

My ex -girlfriend tried to force me to change, didn't end so well in the relationship.
As long as he is asking in a loving way, and not wanting you to change in anger, then it is ok, and is out of love.

no,my boyfriend never tries to change me. he knows who i am and who i want to be. he knows that i am who i am. exactly why we got together. cuz he loves me for what i am.
