1 year = 52.177457 weeks

No, God did not invent anything. A day is determined by the speed of the rotation of the Earth on its axis. Nobody invented it, it's just how our planet moves. A year is determined by the speed which the Earth revolves around the sun. Again, nobody invented it, but we were able to measure how many days it takes for the Earth to move around the sun by documenting the times and locations where the sun rises and sets each day. Weeks are an arbitrary division of time, and are meaningless.
