No. They feel like they're having hard times, just like anyone else. However, they also feel that they'll get out of it with harder work and help from their family. Neither party is against unemployment benefits, if you recall.

The fact is many conservatives aren't making it! Look at the bankruptcy rates of small business! Guess who gets to pay for it, and then they start a different company as it doesn't affect them, though I think some of the laws are being changed.
The Republican party has made sure the individuals who declare bankruptcy, are not able to settle credit cards and other debts!
And Andy, what have you been smoking! Aside from not knowing anything about how the economy works, and it is clear why, almost all liberals work and pay most of the taxes!
You need the unemployed!! It is called Supply and Demand! You guys are users and most of you live 2 paychecks from poverty, and 1/3 of Ford Motors is going to find out all about it! They must be lazy to, right Andy?

There is nothing wrong with being poor as long as a person is working for his own support as long as he is able...and I am a conservative Republican..may not be poor now, because i earned what I have today..by working

I think everyone is ashamed, no matter who they are or their class, status, race, religion or creed, to a certain degree, if you're
poor or barely making it.

Ashamed of what? People have problems. It's not just liberals who lose their jobs, all people from all walks of life have their bad times. They work out of them like everyone else does.
