im personally more in to country and only a little classic rock. but is there anything better than rock music? what do u think?

Country is all about being depressed. There is nothing better than rock music and there never will be. No matter what kind of rock it is, whether it is Goth, classic, metal, soft, it makes you feel good. And it can be mixed with any other genre or about any subject. There is no other music that can compare.

I personally think the 80s synth movement and the Manchester music is better, with a little indie, classical and some rock music. I just like the stuff i like, i don't like specific types of music.

Well, that depends on who you ask. If you're into country and classic rock, you might like rnb and soul. India Arie, Corrine Bailey Rae etc. It's relaxing but there's a funk in it.
I totally agree that rap sucks! haha

yes rap does suck, its not even singing therefore it shouldn't be qualified as music!

Country is way better. I am a fan of metal and rock, but I like country much better. and some of the newer stuff is like a hybrid of rock and country, and I love it. example: Jake Owen "Eight Second Ride"

Country is WAY better. At least you can hear the words of a country song, and the artist isn't screaming the lyrics like do on rock songs.

Today's pop crap sucks a$$! Idon't understand how some of these moronic bands get record deals. I think faux punk bands Blink 182 absolutely SUCK! All of the other stuff on MTV and VH1 suck also. I mean if they played harder edged music for some of us I wouldn't think so badly of them.
