You could try ancestry.com, you will be able to find all sorts on there to help you with your family history or maybe your local studies library, there very helpful and will usually get you documents etc that you require, good luck.

There is a small village called Huntford just south of Jedburgh in the Scottish borders. The name probably relates to that.
