A man lives on the 12th story of an apartment building. On rainy days or when someone rides the elevator with him, he will ride all the way to the 12th floor. On sunny days he will only ride to the 6th floor and walk the rest of the way. WHY?

Because the stairwell is outside.......and besides walking 12 flights of stairs is very tiredsome. have you ever done it?

On rainy days he wants to get out of the rain ASAP to cuddle under some warm blankets. Maybe he has arthritis. On the other days when someone is on the elevator with him he wants to enjoy the presence of another human being on the elevator. On sunny days he rides to the 6 th floor and walks the rest of the way because he wants to enjoy the walk.

He's a short man who takes an umbrella with him on rainy days. And on rainy days, he can press the 12th floor button on the elevator by reaching it with the umbrella. On sunny days, he can't reach the 12th floor button. He can only reach the 6th floor button.
