I know it sounds stupid to ask this question but I have to right a paper about it. It's really dumb. Can anyone give me any ideas why please?? Can you also give me the reason why for that idea

First off there are no dumb question, that's how u learn. That being said. Its important to listen to your science teacher because first it is your teacher. Also he or she not only brings there knowledge of science into the class but also a ton of life experience that can have some real impact on u. At very least u should listen to him/her because the simple fact that he she is your elder and im my opinion that deserves respect. Good luck with your paper...

but Science is fact, and the teacher is guiding you on this fact finding excursion.
When you get older, you'll thank your science teacher for this.

cause if you don't you'll flunk and the have to drop out of school and become a bum and a homeless person and all the time you'll be kicking yourself cause all you had to do was listen up.

So you don't blow yourself up (specific to chemistry)
So you don't poison/give yourself a rash (specific to biology)

you should listen to your teacher because it can help you on quizzes, tests, it can help you answer his or her question qhen she or he calls on you, it can also help you not get in trouble just to be quiet and listen.
