These thing helped us for gas: Place baby so that he is inclined on a pillow and pump his legs. Push so that his legs bend at the knees and push toward his belly. (try this is a warm bath.) Place baby on back with his legs up (like if he was sitting in a chair) and rub his belly. Rub downward on the left sid and upward on the right side. This will force gas through the colon. (clockwise) Rub baby's back in upward motion I use mylicon gas relief

You can try club soda/seltzer water. If you drink it down really fast it will cause you to burp and hopefully that will help. Or maybe try some prune juice to get things moving along and maybe that will relieve some of the tummy issues. If you dont like prune juice try a high fiber cereal like bran and drink lots of water, that should move things along too. Tums are also safe, but dont really help with gas, but will help that heart burn later on.

It's perfectly safe to take Tums while your pregnant. In fact, most doctors reccommend you take 2-3 each day to not only help the gas problem but also to give you more calcium. Good luck.

If it is the type of gas pain that makes your stomach feel bubbly and you can feel the juices in your stomach the best thing to do is eat some kind of bread to soak up those juices it also releives the diarrhea you may be having too it works for me...

Sit on the edge of your bed -- clasp your hands behind your knees and lift both legs as far back towards your shoulders as you can while at the same time lowering your upper body back onto the bed -- this should release the gas Ps -- it was a method reccommended by my mothers' GP when she was suffering gas retention associated with bowel cancer.

I'm 23 weeks pregnant to and I get a lot of gas pain as well, but I did ask a pharmacist and they told me that I could take Gas-X, but I know you will be talking to your doctor later. I have one more, but its a old remedy. I let you know anyway, 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 2 tablespoon of vinegar and fill the rest with water, stir and drink fast. I know it sounds nasty but believe me it works wonders, even when your not pregnant, My mother show me this a long time ago. Every one I know that tried it help them Congrats and Good luck~~~
