around 13...for basic stuff like LIGHT eyeshadow and gloss on the lips. not heavy make up...like foundation until sr. year of high school...and NOT everyday. natural beauty shines through...dont' cover it up

About 13, and then just lightly. A little mascara, some 'coverup' if you have blemishes, and a light lipgloss or lipstick. Heavy makeup on a young teen isn't attractive. Maybe as young as 12, if it's just very little, but any younger than that is just not right.

i started when i was in kindergarden cuz i've had dance recitals.
but like the first person said, what kind? i can understand if you have to wear cover up, but anything else, i would wait till around 12 or 13.

around 12 or 13 you could, just dont put a whole bunch on, and for more dramatic looks i would say 15 or 16.
