Hey guys,

Could someone help me find a smaller aquarium kit, like ranging from 1-10 gallons, around 5 would be best. Online sites would be good. Like price range would be around 1$ to about 50$. Also around the 5-10 gallon range, how many small fish such as platies or mollies or freshawater fish like that could I fit in it? How many small freshwater fish could I fit in my 2.5 minibow i have now? I mean, since they're so small, I would think I could fit atleast like 3 or 4, or am I wrong? Any good internet ot store deals would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Most pet stores sell a complete 10 gallon set-up for around $30. It is well worth the money. The only thing you need to add is gravel and water. Be sure to cycle it properly before adding more than a couple fish.

Tropical fish require at least one gallon of water for every inch of small thin fish. The heavier the fish, the more gallons per inch is needed.

Also, don't forget to do your regular (weekly) partial (25-30%) water changes to keep your fish healthy and happy.

trust me ur better off with a 15 gallon, it may seem herder to maintain u dont hav 2 clean it as often and the fish are more likly 2 survive, at a petsmart u can buy a 10 GALLON kit for $25 and a 20 gallon for $60 but look carefully at wat it has inside

petsmart.com or just go to walmart. In the 2.5 minibowl I'd only go with 2 fish because there might be room for 3 or 4 but you'll have to clean it more cuz if you don't they'll die because of the waste and lack of oxygen in the water

Petco, or PetSmart have web sites and can answer your other questions, as well. They both offer a lot of pet care information online, for free.
