I bought a leather coat from a garage sale. it has a old smell on it. I always leave it outside in the air to air-out. Smell still there. I sprayed it down wit febreeze. It still stinks.

Have it cleaned by someone who specializes in leather goods.

Spray the inside of the coat with a heavy layer of fabreeze. Then hang it, covered in a blanket that was also sprayed with fabreeze in a closet. After about one week, the old smell will have been taken over by the fabreeze.

leave it out the the fresh air a while and maybe spray febreeze on the inside.. : )

You could take it to the cleaners and have it cleaned.
