Love is something one will sense,
And love being blind is true,
What no man ever told me,
Is that words are shallow too.

For shallow is the day it's said,
Shallow is all words,
Shallow is the sweetest voice,
That she had ever heard.

A woman dug herself so deep,
She won't realise until,
She hears the word from her lover,
The one word that can kill.

Shallow is a death mark,
On this world we live on,
We are foolish, know no better,
Shallow's where we belong.

Words Can Be Shallow , But They Can Also Be Very True & Meaningful!
It Just Depends On How They Are Worded, And The Feelings That Are Behind The Words! You Still Sound Very Negative, Disappointed, & Completely Unsatisfied With Yourself And Also With God Your Holy Father, & Creator!!!!! God Has Given You A Talent So That You Will Beable To Use It Wisely & Accomplish Wonderful Goals In Your Life! Not So That You Can Use This Talent To Belittle Him Or Belittle Others!!!! It Would Be Great If You Would Look At This Talent That You Have Been Given Logicaly& Postively!!!!!!!
I Wish You All Of The Best In Life!
Good Luck
&
God Bless You!!!!!!!!

Going against popular opinion, I don't like it. It spites Love, Death and ultimately the human experience. I read poems to make me see a new depth and appreciation of Life; not to realize it's a muted, shallow pit of stale shite. I can walk down the street for that.

It's beautiful! You have the true potencial to be a poem writer. I really think you should publish this poem. I am(or hope to be) a writer. Not a poem writer but a writer nonetheless. Though I'm only 13 i really think you should start publishing your work!

I think your poem's really great
To love is better than to hate
The love of words is such a gift
It let's our way of thinking shift
It nourishes the hungry soul
And helps it to achieve it's goal
If this appears a waste of time
Remember this, it's just a rhyme

Interesting. Like the subject. Most people don't even think about how shallow they might be. Say, isn't Freddie Mercury dead? I thought he died of AIDS?

It is a poem that rings so true to even deaf ears, and blind eyes. I truly loved it. I would give it a definite 10.
