Some school districts go by different grading scales, in which the range for an "A" is shorter. For instance, the cut-off for an 'A' might be a 94% or a 93%. However, in most districts that I know of, an 'A' cuts off at 90%, a 'B' ends at 80%, a 'C' at 70%, a 'D' at 60% and a 'F' is anything below a 60%.
Hope this helps!

At my children's school, a 91% is a B, and a low B at that. Our local school has a VERY tough grading system!!! It goes 100% to 95% is A, 94% to 90% B, and so on.
Good luck and Goddess Bless!
