I'm just curious how TOP SECRET places like the Pentagon or CIA or NSA hire menial labor. Do the janitors have to go through the same TOP SECRET security clearances that all the operatives do? Think about it.....they have access to EVERY ROOM at the Pentagon! You don't think Donald Rumsfeld cleans his own office, do you?! Do you think these janitors make higher salaries than the average janitor?
Do you think people just say one day "hey, I think I'll apply to be a janitor at the CIA"?

I don't think being a janitor is "menial labor".

But you have to know someone who has a history of hiring for the government. Some agencies have contracts with them that have cleared security and background checks. Which means it's hard.
