Just because a group exists doesn't mean that they will do any certain action. This is not a logical question. Just because I live, why haven't I eaten fries today? See the illogic?

Terrorism is all about unpredictability. September 11, 2001 happened not only because all the warning signs were ignored, but because mainly no one was expecting it. If Israel expects to be attacked, then no terrorist is going to attack, because that country is already on the defensive and prepared. Terrorists would be far more likely to strike somewhere else that is not expecting an attack and is not prepared to defend itself.

This is why the war on terror is a losing proposition. It's only possible to keep up with terrorists, never get ahead of them. The most we can hope to do is to defuse and derail some of their plans. But any individual is capable of terroristic acts, and no government can or should watch all its citizens or subjects at all times in a state of fear.

Your question requires just guesses for answers, because, as you said, we are being lead.

So far, neither bin Laden or Saddam Heussein came to my doorstep, so I don't know these fellas too well.

Now, my guess is that there are many groups that hate Israel, and maybe they agree among themselves who should get involved with isreal.

If this could be the case, then the only way to fight them is to get them to fight against each other.

It can be done using technology. Something similar to trick mirrors where they think they see their enemies, but they actually see their own kind, and when they shoot them, they kill each other off without harming others who want to live peaceful lives.

Sounds far fetched?

Didn't the Personal Computer and the VCR once sound far fetched?

Unless what? They don't really exist? Sorry, but they do. I suppose you think that the major governments of the world are all involved in a top-secret operation to convince their citizens that Osama bin Laden is real. Well, apparently they've succeeded for the most part. Wow, I didn't realize that all of our politicians were that smart and clever.

The answer is simple: Israel would react with a military response unlike anything seen to date. Like the US SHOULD have done.

Israel allows their intelligence community to protect them. Do you know they have ARMED air marshals on ALL El-AL flights?
