Since he supported FREEDOM and wanted people to live by a simple set of 10 rules, I would say emphatically republican assuming only two parties to choose from.

Probably a Democrat, he went to all the people without a penny and never asked for anything. He helped those who needed it, saved those he could, and healed the sick. Dont sound like any Republican I know. They'd like to us think they have the market on family values. Maybe the family values of the rich and famous? That's not to say the Democrats are angels. But if my life had to depend on one of them, it would be a democrat. At least they would try to help. Independents are people like me disenfranchised with our government. The only reason I'm one is that I have hope. After all, isn't that what Jesus gave us?

Neither I would say. Since Jesus actively encouraged people to sell their possessions and generally live a simpler life, the idea of him joining up with any political party would be against his own teachings.

I don't know what party but there was nobody more liberal the Jesus, think about it. In his travels he was converting people to Christianity regardless of being the oppressed.

He would probably be registered as unaffiliated but cast most of his votes for Liberal Democrats. Jesus was against war and in favor of afflicting the comfortable to comfort the afflicted.

I believe God (authoritarian) would be a Republican, and Jesus would be a Democrat (benevolent and forgiving.)

He would have been none of the above. He said, "My kingdom is not of this world." He did, however, encourage obedience to the government, so long as that obedience didn't interfere with obedience to God.
