Girk Kitiara? That's AWFUL
Kitiara is not quite so bad, but the poor kid will have to spell her name to virtually EVERY person she ever meets. Is that fair?

Neither you or your husband have to live with this name, think of the child and what she would consider such a name to mean.
Judging by the number of name changes done by 16 to 20 year-olds not many parents thought of their child rather than themselves.
I will not say yes or no, search your own hearts and decide.

Yeah why not, its not as if a Girk will know what it is called will it.
Its not like haveing a Girl or Boy.
You cannot go far wrong if you use names of the Kings and Queens of England.

The name is different and unique, so I think that it will be fine. It's OK to be different. I have heard of really wierd names and that one is not bad at all....
