If I were to get a 30 GB ipod and add the limit of songs, 7500, would i still be able to get 40 hours of video and everything else?
I'm not sure if it the amount of video I can have on it depends on how much of everything else there is.

Probably not, your 7500 songs would take up a lot of the library, depending on the quality of the file. Also, video itself can take up large amounts of space, so it will probably have to be extremely compressed (lower quality) to fit anywhere near 40 hrs of video along with the songs. . .usually it's an either or kind of deal though =^/

No way!! It says "up to" 7500 song and "up to" 40 hrs of video. You can't get all of them. It's like you can either put 10 1cent coins in your pocket or 2 quarters in your pocket or 5 1cent coins and 1 quarter coin. It makes sense if you unserstand Gigabites and stuff like that.

It's either or or a mix of. You can store music and videos with a total of 30 GB.
