I want to go to Antarctica, does anyone know approximately how much it costs to travel out there?

I've gone to a few websites, but I dont get a quote. Who has been there? And how was it? Is it really cold??

I've never been there. I actually didn't know that people could travel to Antarctica unless they were scientists/nature photographers, etc. I found a website for a 26 day cruise for over $10,000! Yikes!
There is also a 12 day cruise that runs from $$2995 - $5695. Too expensive for me!
