I get zit-type things all over my body sometimes... but they're not like normal zits, and i'm 26 and havn't had them in years.
Plus my sinus is FULL. I can barely breath through my nose at all.
What should I look at? I've tried nasonex and such, but it hasn't helped.
I do not have athsma, and I work out regularly, and will be running a marathon next month. i'm in good shape, and my doctor suggested i'm allergic to something...
oh... one more thing.... 8 hours sleep doesn't leave me feeling rested in the morning...
In fact even wierder, once in a while I have a beer, and i've got to say that the only time I feel rested in the morning is when I have the beer the night before. I tend to wake up less congested in my sinus! Quite clear some time.
PLEASE! EVERYONE, ANYONE! HELP! GIVE ME YOUR OPINIONS AND EXPERIENCE.

Your doctor should send you for allergy testing. Find out what you're allergic too and then start trying out prescription allergy meds. I'm really allergic and I had testing about three years ago. My doctor had me try three different allergy meds until we found one that really worked the best for me. I also did the allergy shots for about a year and a half and that helped me out too.

I'm not a doctor but i'm also suffering from many allergies.
Do you feel like your Sinus is full but water is dripping down from your nose? Or do you sneeze every time you wake up early in the morning? if yes! avoid smoke and dust. Antihistamines could help, warning take this medicines before bed time and no alcohol.
Those Zit-type you mentioned, are these the red spots behind your knees or in the elbow area or around the waist? if yes, could be allergic to strong soap. Use mild soap preferably the hypo-allegenic type or baby soap. I hope this will help.

It sounds as if you could be suffering from an allergy - blocked nose and small spots or rashes are common signs.
You can be in excellent shape and still suffer from allergies so go to your Doctor or other health practitioner and ask then to do some allergy testing.
It could be either something you are eating or something in your environment. Either way it is reasonably easy to deal with once you know what the problem is.

Could be a different detergent youre using maybe on your sheets? A different soap in the shower? You may need vitamens if you dont take any. One with each meal. Start using a saline in your nose as much as you can during the day. Get more rest, if you can.
Maybe a new pet? Anything different youre using in your home...THINK!..lol
Try Benedryl, its the only one that works for me and I live with food allergies and pollen/grass/weeds/you name it!

The congestion and bumps could be separate issues. Many things can make you more photosensitive like medications and especially iodine (shrimp is high in iodine) and cause not-quite blister type bumps on the skin.
Good luck
