Have you talked to your OB/GYN about this? This would probably be the best place to start. . .

I think it's too early to make a diagnosis of hyperactive.

But your problem could be related to something you are eating or drinking. Do you consume lots of caffeine?

Cola
Orange soda
Dr. Pepper
Mountain Dew
Coffee
Tea
Chocolate

All of these have considerable amounts of caffeine, and this does get into your baby's system before birth.

Try cutting down or eliminating those, and see if that helps. If you nurse the baby, you will still have to stay away from caffeine. And mothers who are careless about caffeine may also be more likely to give it to their children.

ON THE OTHER HAND.....
my daughter's boyfriend is ADHD, very hyper, and he drinks coffee to settle himself down. A truly hyperactive person often reacts just the opposite to these things.

If you have cut out caffeine, you might try it and see if that helps.

HAHA lol, no thats a real good sign, not to scare you, but my son was exactly like that, he passed away in feb....but i also endured hurricane RITA and stuff while prego and lost my home, has been a reaaalllly bad year. But it's nice to think that he's playin with Steve Irwin the coolest guy around.... Your baby is very healthy and probaly will be early, as long as it's no more then 2 weeks, you'll both be fine =) Good luck.

I have never heard that term in my life> I thought all babies were different. Is there really such a thing? I felt my baby a lot but I was just under the impression that he had a lot more room to move around. I really have no idea.
