1. 16+4(x+5)=16+4x+20=36+4x
2. -11(2-2x)+4=-22+22x+4=-18+22x
3. 10-3(x-1)=10-3x+3=13x+3
4. 4+2(6y-2)+5y=4+12y-4+5y=17y
5. 2(3x-2)+3(5y-1)=6x-4+15y-3=-7+6x+15y
6. 5-(n+3)+3n=5-n-4+3n=1+2n
7. -3(6x-6)+2(9x-9)=-18x+18+18x-18=0
8. 3(d+5)-3(3-d)=3d+15-9+3d=6d+6

First do the multiplication. So on #1 you would mutliply 4 times X +5 and get 4X+20+16. This equals 4x + 36. Then subtract 36 from the right side and you get 4x= -36. Divide by 4 and you get
-9. X= -9. Always do the mutliplication first or division first. Then add similars properties and then solve for x.

1) x=-1
2)x=-21
3)x=31
4) does not solve...but can be simplified to 17y the other values cancel
5)x= 3/2(5y -1) +2
y=[2/3(x-2)-1)
6)n=7.5
7) entire equation cancels out. simplifies to 0
8)6d-6

For increasing cubic binomials the known formula is as follows: (a + b) ^ 3 = a^3 + 3*a^2*b^a million + 3*a^a million*b^2 + b^3 on your case, a is x and b is -y^5 So (x - y^5)^3 = x^3 + 3*x^2*(-y^5)^a million + 3*x^a million*(-y^5)^2 + (-y^5)^3 Simplified: =x^3 - 3x^2*y^5 + 3x*y^10 - y^15 :D

Read your textbook and figure it out. I haven't had algebra in years and I can still figure these out, so you should at least get a grasp of the subject. Anyone telling you just the answers will not be helping you. Remember, solve for x by doing the opposite.

here's the answer and problem solving for #6:
5 - (n + 3) + 3n = 0
-5 -5
---------------------------
-(n + 3) + 3n = -5
- 3n - 3n
---------------------------
-(n + 3) = -5 - 3n
remove the negatives from both sides(negate eachother)
----------------------------
n + 3 = 5 + 3n
-n -n
---------------------
3 = 5 + 2n
-5 -5
-----------------
-2 = 2n
divide by two
------------------
-1 = n
hope this helps!

I think you should do it yourself and stop cheating here. What is the point of school if you dont learn anything? If you cheat in school you will have a crummy life! Do it yourself, you'll be better off.
