Depends on what it's about. Some states let you decide what parent you want to live with in case of a divorce, at I believe 13 years of age.

If your parents are getting a divorce it is age 13. I know I just went through that. My daughter picked her father because he lets her do ANYTHING she wants, which is very bad. You need to pick the parents who is going to take the best care of you. But you need to treat them both the same or you will upset your parents.

If your parents are getting divorced and you are over 9 yrs old the judge will let you choose which parent you want to live with.
