I would crack down on violence in the ghettos. More police stations, one on almost every corner in the 'hood'. It's rediculous how much gang banging homies pop their gats off every night.

IF I were a dictator, I would renounce my dictatorship in favor of a limited term presidency and create a Bill of Rights and a Constitution that used language simple enough to keep lawyers and crooked politicians from manipulating it in order to satisfy greedy corporate lobbiests, restoring freedom, peace, and honor to ALL the people, not just the rich!

I would feed and clothe everyone and make sure that noone in MY country ever has to NEED, first before doing anything else, and every decision I made would revolve around that. All resources would go to the people to serve their needs first and foremost. Those who needed the most would get the most. The ones who had the most to give would give the most. Corporations would NOT be given the same civil rights as people. People would be considered to be of much higher importance. In fact heck let's go for it, I'd get rid of money and guns, too!

I'd actually work to get rid of laws instead of making new ones. I'd push to deregulate the economy and get the government out of our personal lives. Basically, I'd reduce the government to not much more than a military to protect us from outside threats, police to protect us internally, courts to enforce the law and contracts, and a small civil service for record keeping and regulating pollution.
My last law would be to declare the end of dictatorship and then I'd step down from power.

Affordable presciptions for everyone (world-wide) raise working wages, and let the Middle East deal with their own problems, we can not even protect our own country...
