start with squash, peas and carrots are harder on their stomachs, and squash is a nice mild-on-the-tummy veggie. also, introducing baby cereal first is best. you can start with those things at about 6 months, but it depends on the baby. my daughters stomach was too sensitive and couldnt handle anything but breast milk for 10 months. just talk to your pediatrician. always start with veggies, not fruits because fruits are sweet and they may never take veggies if you start them on fruits. it can take up to 13 introductions of a food before your child will accept it. also, only introduce one food at a time, for a week, so if there is an allergic reaction, you know EXACTLY what food it was. dont introduce beans or any other foods that may be gassy or hard on the tummy until your baby has a good grip on several other foods. spinach is really healthy. anything dark green or yellow is a healthy veggie, except corn, thats mostly starch.

I'm not a doctor and every child is different so I would check with your baby physician. Only he and you can discuss your child eating habits and take it from there. Don't go off on someone else feeding there child. You don't want to start to soon on solid foods like peas and carrots unless your baby doctors says its OK. Good Luck~~~~

That really depends on your baby but usually it can be between 4 to six months as long as you do one vegie at a time because if they have a reaction you will know which vegie caused it and another sign can be they are not satisfied with what they have in there tummys like if they seem there not satisfied or happy after you have given them what ever that maybe .

My little 8 month previous does an analogous aspect. you could purchase the heinz junior foodstuff with the chunks it on for 8 month olds, and he will eat that, yet no longer some thing else till he could have some thing to bite on lol i ought to offer him those. I by danger gave him the 12 month stuff the different day and he loved it. i do not imagine it concerns what age that's as long as you supply him some water or juice to save his poops from being too confusing. :)

When my son was about 10 months old I diced up carrots and boiled them, and gave him thawed frozen peas and he picked them up and ate them. Just make sure the carrots are well cooked.
