first figure out someway to shade your pond, that will eliminate most of the algae, then go to pet shop or Lowe's or Home Depot
and get a book about ponds, they will have plans showing how to build filter

i believe there are tablets that you drop in the water to curtail the algae. this is safe for the fish. you may want to try Lowe's or Home Depot in the lawn and garden sectiom or look it up on the internet.

grab a power head and put a hole in the bottom of a 32 ounce plastic cup. drill many little holes in it. put the bottom onto the intake of the power head and put in filter media inside of plastic cup.
