As for your question on lego star wars 1. You need to achieve true jedi on every level of the game. Once you get that you will get a bonus level with the ? on it.
*spoilers below*
the bonus level is star wars episode iv(not the same one on the new lego game) that is filled with tons of studs and allows you to play as darth vader and princess leia
