he was coming to get the phone bill at my house. I'm not paying it. I don't have his new address. I really don't care what it is. I don't want to deal with him anymore.

You are not responsible for anything. All you have to do is write NO LONGER AT THIS ADDRESS on the outside of the envelope stick it back in mailbox. Do not call the phone company or they will attempt to get you involved and responsible but you are under no legal obligation to do anything but write that on the envelope. You don't even need to put a new stamp on it.

You have the right not to pay the phone bills of your boyfriend because it is not yours. The problem is when the phone bills are under your name and you will be obliged to pay. You can change the address of the bills and direct it to your boyfriend.

Bring the bill to the post office and tell them that the person it is addressed to moved and give them his new address...they will forward something to the phone company or forward all the mail coming into your house to his new address...Or tell the lazy bastard to do it himself.

put on envelope, no such person, and mail back to phone company. or fill out a change of address card at the post office with your ex boy friends name and new address on it. the post office will then send to his new address.

I used to get mail for the woman that lived here before me. When it came, I just wrote "moved no longer resides here." And it worked. You don't have to fill out anything..The postman will take it back to the post office who will return it to the sender. Then, they can go look for him....
