I dream of being like John Travolta and his woman in Saturday Night Fever, where every one stands round and claps as they marvel at my nifty moves. Unfortunately the effect is more like drunk wedding Dad, which is a bit disconcerting considering my gender.

I've only recently been brave enough to dance when out, working my way to the dance floor…but it is hard, I'm only brave enough to dance when I'm drunk and that hardly helps the fact that I already have no balance at the best of times.
That said however all my friends tell me I dance like a pole dancer [I take that as a big compliment] and I always seem to get people watching me or trying to chat me up after watching me dance – I suppose i dance differently to everyone else, I go to rock clubs but my dancing has more of a flavour that you'd expect to see at an R&B or hiphop club.
Heh, to some that may sound bad, but trust me I don't have my boobs or other body parts out or dance like I'm having sex, I'm told I dance very good :o)

Ooh God, I cant dance. So i dont look good on a dancefloor. I once danced on a table with my friends at a club we were all drunk and i fell off. I also dont look good on a table apparently. Embarrassing. It hurt. But i was in hysterics so was everyone else haha. My dancing sucks it runs in the family lol.

I love to dance and I never think about how I look. I feeel good.
I'm sure you look fine, it's all in the mind.
Not good lurking at the bar, much better to dance. Try it you will love it.

Not too bad, thanks, but only with copious amounts of alcohol, I just go for it, who gives a monkeys?
The only thing I have never been good at is proper hardcore dance, I just don't know what to do, I make my excuses & leave.
Big fish little fish, cardboard box and all that, no can do.

I too dance like a robot from 1984, that's what I imagine anyway. I probably look more like my dad dancing in 1984 (the year he had his stroke).
I was lying about the stroke.
