I like anime. I have some that I know of, that haven't appeared in the US (my area, anyway) and I don't talk about them to my friends or anything. I'm keeping all of the animes I know a secret from them. Is that wrong? I only do it, because, usually when I tell them about an anime, they go insane over it and they act like I don't even watch it. Then they starting thinking that they're the characters! It really annoys me.

No, I don't think it's wrong that you're keeping this a secret.

You've got some F---ed up friends if they go crazy over a stupid cartoon and say stuff like, "You don't know what you're missing." You're obviously not missing anything. And I think it's nuts for your friends to think they're anime characters, and try to live vicariously through them.

They obviously need to turn off the television and get out to get some fresh air.

It incredibly relies upon. i'm no longer able to tell from the English what the unique honorific would be, by way of fact the interpretation does no longer pass straight away into english and the translator has diverse ingenious license with them. There are not any actual honorifics that propose diverse people or "we," yet there is yet another grammatical quirk that does try this. it may additionally purely be the fact the folk who try this are leaders, and therefor contain their subjects while conversing at circumstances. in case you will get the jap, i will inform you extra approximately why it grew to become into translated like that.

You don't have to tell your friends about the animes if you don't want. But remember, if they find out that you knew about it and didn't tell them, they might get mad. You also might want to find other friends who don't act like that.
