Butter. A cardiologist on OPRAH states that it is healthier for you than margarine because the body knows what to do with butter. The fat and plastic in margarine (Country Crock, etc.) stay in the arteries and clog it.

I used to only like margarine for the longest time, because that is what I grew up with as a kid. But when I got older, and started eating butter on things, I have never gone back to margarine again.

I prefer butter. I left a container of margarine outside on the picnic table overnight and the flies wouldn't even touch it. I thought I was crazy so the next day, I put a pat of butter outside and they were all over it. If the flies weren't interested in the margarine, there are way too many preservatives in it for me.

I like the taste of butter better, but I buy margarine because it is cheaper. Both are 100% fat. You have to read the labels to get your best choice. Some margarines have more sodium than others. You just have to read the labels.

Butter. I understand that our body understands the ingredients in butter and is able to break it down. Margarine on the other hand is foreign to our bodies and digesting margarine is somewhat difficult If you freeze Margarine, it won't freeze! what's up with that???

Butter, margarine was originally made for turkeys and chickens
to eat and was intended to fatten them up, but instead, it
killed them. So much money was spent on the margarine
that they sold for human consumption and made it taste like
butter.

I prefer butter. It melts easier on my naked honey's body. Margarine just sort of coagulates. Not a pretty site!
