We don't need a world governance. All we need is a forum, where all can voice themselves, respectfully and with respect given to them. Globalization is not really a very good idea.

If I was certain that such a government would unambiguously respect human rights, and would limit itself to only the few legitimate functions of government, I would be willing to claim allegiance to it.
I find it highly unlikely that any global government like that will come about any time soon.

I think it would take more than just a set up government. I think it would take loads of brainwashing and mass consumerism. Excuse my cynicism, but I think until we reach that non-feeling point we won't be able to be rid of bad feelings between nations. It's not the greatest thing to think about though. Ideas need to spread and we need to be open-minded. It will take a long time for that to happen...
