it will play and burn cds but it'll just play(wmvplayer) a dvd and show nothing,no sound also..but it tags the DVD .help!!! send me a link or a prayer

Did you set WMP to play DVDs? Check the settings. You have more than one optical drive, you must select the proper drive in the Media Player. If you have "Power DVD" on your computer that will let you view the DVD also.There is a free player/file sharing program called "LimeWire". Get it here:

you have to download a decoder program to play dvd's.
