There are not only Nazis in Europe but in the United States as well. The term now is neo-nazis, which literally means new nazis, or modern nazis. Like the ones during Hitler's time, they still believe the white race is superior and anyone who isn't white, or has mixed blood are inferior and basically out to ruin the white race. It's a group of hate mongers who just need to feel superior to someone because of their own insecurities and they can actually be quite violent. They tend to come from poorly educated backgrounds, have very tough family lives and look for family in groups that treat them well. So they join together in their hate and for the first time feel like they belong to something powerful and important. It's not only very sad but frightening because they feel as though they have a right to do whatever is necessary to keep the white race "pure", including violence.

Some folks call themselves nazi, maybe even a formal nazi party somewhere. Doubt they have anything to do with socialism.

Nazi's are really only good for buying overpriced nazi memoribilia. (Woo-hoo!)

Germany suffered terribly in the 20s, with France insisting on massive retribution that helped cause hyperinflation and unemployment. Those conditions will make nazis out of anybody. (Read up on Huey Long or the American Bund movement if you don't buy it.)

If you want to join something, start going to church or find a volunteerism center in your city. You really don't want to mess with the dudes calling themselves nazi. They're freakin' nuts.

There are Nazi sympathizers around. Nazi's are still being hunted down, and when they are caught they will be tried for war crimes aginst Jews and Germans. The old Nazi's who served Hitler, are very few left alive and they are old. But when they are found, they will be tried. Many of them fled to other small countries. Some went to Brazil, Africa and other places, far from Germany.

I don't think there are any in Germany. I have a few friends that live in Germany, and they utterly hate Nazi's. But yes, there are. Watch "American History X"
