If you have a passport that is all you need.

If not then your drivers license (or BC ID) and birth certificate. You may get in on just a drivers license, especially if you are driving. But they have the right to ask for two pieces of id. The bar does, why not the boarder. lol. And last time I drove back into Canada they asked for both.

You should really check this out with US immigration as they are the ones who set the standards. At the moment, all you need is some picture ID and something that confirms your citizenship. Passports are always the easiest.

If your going to cross the border from the US, then you don't need any documentaries. But if your coming back from a foreign country, then yes you need to show your important documentary which sympolizes that your a citizen from that country.

I would think that all you need, at this point, is a birth certificate. That's all that is required of us, for now, to go to Canada. Eventually, though, we will need Passports.
