For me it would be unloading the car with towels, bukets, shovels, other sand toys, blankets, food, suntan lotion, extra clothes, diapers, water, umbrella; carrying my 18-month old and holding my 3-year-old's hand.

Watching my boys have a great time for a few minutes before my 18-month old is eating sand or my 3 year old is throwing it. I ask him to stop, but not before he gets it in his eyes or his brother's eyes. One of them starts screaming to get it out. We're all better now, but there's sand on the blanket and they want to go in the water now.

The water is cold, but it doesn't matter. My 3 year old walks in, my 18 month old wants to, but is held back by me who only wants to get my feet wet. He feels the cold water and thinks better of getting in and wants to run in the sand. I can't let him do that because then I wouldn't see my 3 year old. Now, the baby is screaming and I am hurrying my older son out of the water. I encourage him to come back to the sand and get a bite to eat. We enjoy a great lunch on the sandy blanket of peanut butter and jelly and sand. Yummy! Both the kids are covered with sticky sand. (which you can get off with a little baby powder) but I forgot that.

After a few more sand castles, I gather EVERYTHING back up again for the long stroll back to the car. I go home, give everyone a bath and wonder how soon I can go back.

A day at the beach is hot and sunny. The sky is very "big" to look at because there is nothing in the way to obstuct the view of it.
If you get hungry you must leave or you can bring your own food but there will always be sand in whatever you eat. Ones skin gets burnt at the beach and you can bet on leaving the beach with a different skin tone.

Ok...

The sun is high up in the sky radiating over the sandy shore and you can feel the heat spread throughout your body. You feel the cool water rise against your feet as the waves roll back and forth in the water. There's people around you sitting and waiting to get a tan while other's simply walk or swim on the beach. And as the sun looms over the skies across the ocean water, it reflects back exposing a great bright light.

That's as far as I can think of.

start early morning drive to the beach and stop and get a soda before you cross the bridge to the island. driving down the road with the music blaring and the scent of suntan lotion on your skin. when you arrive at the beach, just over the dunes you can see ocean for miles and miles. you search for a god spot that noone is fishing in, close to hot guys, put out your chair, and relax in the sun. when you get to hot you can take a dip in the ocean. stay for hours if you like, it is beautiful.
