Last time I checked. The only numbers are 0-9 everthing else can be made from those....

0-9 is all we need, because we use the base-10 system, that is, 0-9. For any numbers larger than that, you would just add a digit and start over again:
0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20
So for 11, you would just press 1 then another 1.
If we had a different base system you would need to create more numerals, though, and would then have to add them to the keypad.

because any number no matter how long or its type can be written using the digits 0-9 where ofcourse 9 is the highest number

the numbers 0-9 are the basic numbers.. these numbers are combined to create larger numbers... e.g 1 and 0 are put together to make 10

Since you are under Dec. mode(max value for each digit is 10). If you change your mode to Bi (max value for each digit is 2) or Hex (max value for each digit is 6), then the highest number for each digit will change to 1 or 5 accordingly.
