It's not a battle! Why do men always think in fighting terms? I think it's a very interesting site where you can ask anything you like and be sure of an answer. It doesn't matter if it's answered by a man or a woman.

No, it's an all out war of intelligence against stupidity. In a one-on-one intelligence wins every time, but the amount of stupidity is so overwhelming that victory is inevitable and Yahoo answers will become a stupidocracy.

It all depends on which questions are at hand. It goes to assume that certain questions do arouse the simmering battle of the sexes.

Why would you think that?
I think it's a coming out of stupidity for the most part.
Last call for moron city departing now!!! All aboard! Choo Choo!!!!
Say there actually are intelligent question and answers from time to time...that's nice to see some sense and sensibility still exists.

No, it is a battle of the objective observer and the codependent.
Just try telling a woman that her husband IS cheating on her. She suspects and asked for our viewpoint, but thumbs down (and sends nasty emails to) anyone that said "YES, it's sounds as if he is cheating".
Too ridiculous for words!

I've never thought this, and really you cannot assume anything about the gender of those who answer. Having said that, I acknowledge I am a bit mistrustful of the web, anyone can say they are anyone. Communicating on here is still enjoyable though.

unfortunately it is impossible;e for men to win a battle as their concentration span is that of a slug . the battle would be over and done with before they even realised it had started

I don't think so.
I think that the 'Battle' is in -
'trying to understand some of the questions,'
'trying to read what they questioner is asking' (amidst the appalling writing / spelling / grammar), and maybe
'what is behind the question.'
Your own question may well have a broad agenda, with a very narrow tip to it.

Sash.
