if the test was positive, its very likely your pregnant. false POSITIVES on pregnancy tests are rare compared to false NEGATIVES.

your urine 1st thing in the morning is has the highest concentration of hormones, and your urine later in the day is less concentrated. so your morning pee probably had enough pregnany hormone to register the test positive but maybe later in the day your pee did not have enough hormone to register on the test.

i would go see a doctor to make absolutely sure.

No one can tell you if you are pregnant or not without a physical exam and some bloodwork. You may have been pregnant, but miscarried, or you may still be pregnant. Some women spot throughout their entire pregnancies. Did you do the second test with morning urine? If not, the levels of pregnancy hormome might have been too small to register.
The best thing to do would be to go to your doctor's, and get a blood (serum) pregnancy test done. This test will not only show if you are pregnant or not, it will also show how much pregnancy hormone is in your system. If they think you miscarried, they will do a second serum pregnancy test in two weeks or so, and if the pregnancy hormone levels have dropped considerably, then you most likely miscarried. But there's no way of knowing unless you go see your doctor!
Hope everything works out for you.

Pregnancy Problems
Vaginal bleeding or spotting can occur during pregnancy for many reasons. This can be a very frightening experience for an expectant mom. If you experience any bleeding during pregnancy contact your doctor immediately. Some women will have spotting or bleeding during early pregnancy. Twenty to twenty-five percent of women have spotting or bleeding during pregnancy. Half of these women go on to have no other problems due to the bleeding. This can be caused by many reasons.
Early pregnancy Bleeding

It's estimated that 25% of all women have bleeding in early pregnancy. One possible cause of this bleeding is implantation bleeding. Implantation bleeding is lighter than menstrual bleeding, and consists of pink or brown colored blood. Read more about implantation bleeding Implantation bleeding usually occurs 5-12 days after ovulation, so just around the time that you would be getting your period. Bleeding during ovulation is something different.
Miscarriage
Bleeding while pregnant doesn't mean that miscarriage is certain, but it can occur. About half of the women who bleed do not have miscarriages. Miscarriage can occur at any time during the first half of pregnancy. Most occur during the first 12 weeks. Miscarriage occurs in about 15 to 20 percent of pregnancies.

Most miscarriages cannot be prevented. They are often the body's way of dealing with a pregnancy that was not normal.
Ectopic Pregnancy
Another problem that may cause pain and bleeding or spotting during early pregnancy is ectopic pregnancy. If pregnancy occurs in a fallopian tube, it may burst. Ectopic pregnancies are much less common than miscarriages. They occur in about one in 60 pregnancies.
Molar Pregnancy
A rare cause of early bleeding is molar pregnancy. It is also called gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD) or simply a "mole." It is the growth of abnormal tissue instead of an embryo.
Late Pregnancy Bleeding
The causes of bleeding in the second half of pregnancy differ from those in early pregnancy. Common conditions that cause minor bleeding include an inflamed cervix or growths on the cervix.
Placental Abruption
The placenta may detach from the uterine wall before or during labor. This may cause aginal bleeding. Only 1 percent of pregnant women have this problem. It usually occurs during the last 12 weeks of pregnancy. Stomach pain often occurs, even if there is no obvious bleeding.
Placenta Previa
When the placenta lies low in the uterus, it may partly or completely cover the cervix. This is called placenta previa. It may cause spotting during pregnancy. Placenta previa is serious and requires prompt care.
Labor
Late in pregnancy, vaginal bleeding may be a sign of child labor. A plug that covers the opening of the uterus during pregnancy is passed just before or at the start of labor. A small amount of mucus and blood is passed from the cervix. This is called "bloody show." It is common. It is not a problem if it happens within a few weeks of your due date.

I think that you are pregnant and that you are just having a little bit of normal spotting. I would not worry about it unless you start having really bad cramps and the bleeding gets really heavy.
