Depends on who you ask. I say no, because I'm a Christian, and the Bible says that homosexuality is wrong.

Does it matter whether it is "right" or "wrong?" Research shows that 8% of any population will be homosexual. It seems to be a fact of life, and if you're among that 8%, then no amount of proselytizing or encouragement will change your underlying orientation. The real question is what to do about it; one can be a practicing or nonpracticing lesbian by one's own choice. No one else can make that ultimate choice but the lesbian in question.

Personally, I think it is wrong to persecute someone because of that person's sexual orientation, and Christians should not ostracize someone on that basis. I don't know if that was pertinent to your question or not, but I believe many people close their minds when they hear the magic words and do not think about it before spouting dogma. If one is gay or lesbian it is best to be vigilant and not reveal oneself indiscriminately because there are many people of this type. This, of course, makes no statement as to the rightness or wrongness of being a lesbian, because I can't answer that. It is an individual problem to be solved by the individual; for some, God can help; for others, answers must be found elsewhere.

It's right if it's right for you. You are the only one in the end that can answer this question for you. Whether it's because you are debating this for yourself or because of someone else in your life grappling with it, when it comes down to it you have to do the work, the soul searching to come to grips with it in your heart. It's a journey and it's important to consider your moral compass...what is guiding your sense of right and wrong, is it within you or are you influenced by others with their own personal agendas? I am a Christian, and I will tell you that I do not believe it is wrong for someone to be gay or lesbian, I believe it is wrong for others not to embrace each and every human being and celebrate him or her for being who they are and having the courage to be themselves in spite of so many cruel and judging people. If you need help considering this question from a faith based standpoint there are a lot of excellent resources you can search for online.

you need to answer that question for yourself - but I do not think that it is anyone's place to tell you it is wrong - right or wrong the answer needs to come from within your heart - why not pray ?
