I don't think that abortion is ever the "right" thing to do. If you ever think that you can not handle the responsiblity to be a mother or if you are raped and become impregnated then there is ALWAYS the option of adoption. There are millions of people that want children but are not capable of having biological children. The irresponsiblity of someone having an abortion could possibly take away the dream of a couple to have children. Also abortion IS taking the life of a living thing. ADOPTION is the best option if you cannot be a parent for any reason.

I know since I am a guy I will never have one done. My first wife had one. She said it would have been a boy. Maybe he would have been someone important or one of his children. He might not have been mine since my wife was cheating on me. She was too sick and drunk most of the time to carry full term without harm to either of them. I have always felt guilty for it when the subject comes up. I have a saying: Children are never a mistake, It's the people you have them with. This might be true most of the time if you think about it.

I believe in abortion if the woman was raped by a stranger, raped by a family member, or if the baby was badly deformed, or had many health problems. Abortion should not be used for birth control method.

Unfortunately it is sometimes a necessary thing. I do not think it's something I could ever do, but I will not tell someone they can't or shouldn't do it, and I will never judge anyone who does do it. It's a person's personal choice.
