acids like:
HCl
this is one of the acids in your stomach,,,,also you can say lemon juice is an acid,,,,,or even milk ,you can count it as an acid since it has a pH number 6

Bases like:
NaOH
there are bases in your mouth actually, they help prepare the food to get into the stomach,,,,,,,,you can also count egg white as a base, because it has a 8 pH number

There are usually no strong acids around the home, other than the battery acid in your car.There are some weak acids, like vinegar. But there are some strong bases such as oven cleaner and drain cleaners.
