When you trip on something, do you look to see what it was?

Or do you just lay on the floor and curse for five minutes before you get up, like me?

I actually laugh for a while before I get up. I get up and continue to laugh. Then I look at whatever made me fall and if I can remove it, to prevent someone else from also falling, I do so. I laugh when someone else falls and is not injured and I make them laugh, too. It's better than making them feel embarrassed.

No I look and wonder how I manage to trip over a flat surface with nothing on the floor and I was wearing simple tennis shoes.

Who DOESN'T look back. Especially if someone else saw you stumble. The more people present, the more likely it is that the "tripper" will smash down some imaginary high spot in the floor before moving on.

I look 2 find out what it was, curse at whateva it was 4 five minutes then throw it at the wall!!!! :-)

Get up, look at the thing and probably curse if I hurt myself..maybe even laugh out-loud.

Yes, I look, because if I fall down I'm right on the level of whatever I tripped over anyway . . .

I always look, sometimes curse, and generally figure it was the ground reaching up to grab my foot rather than my own clumsiness. :)

I look to see what it was...( hic ) people are always putting things in front of me ( hic ) so I will trip and fall.....once I tripped over a motorcycle..that someone laid down in front of me...( hic )..it's not cool to play jokes on ( burp ) the Drunk..
