If you started a more strenous exercise program then the sweat could be causing you break out in strange places. When i first started running regularly i'd get zits on my chin and chest. Anyway, make sure to get out of sweaty clothes and shower as soon as possible after working out.
Otherwise it could be any number of things like: your shampoo is too oily for your skin type, hormone changes, hats, change in your diet, etc. It's best to think about if you made any major or minor lifestyle changes to pinpoint the issue and then you can resolve it.

If you recently got a haircut with bangs, that would be your answer, grease from hair on your face is one of the worst things ever, it causes horrible acne. If not, maybe just hormonal development, you might be going through changes. Like going from teenager to woman, or woman to older woman, or older woman to super old, or super old to dying, or you know what I mean? Haha, well ya. Like my mom has never had pimples in her life and now she's going through menopause and she randomly is getting like ingrown pimples that hurt and won't go away, so ya.

well....the oils in your hair can cause pimples... I have bangs and this happens to me....
make sure to wash your face before you go to bed....expecially if you wear makeup....and if you do have bangs...pin them back when you go to bed..
HOPE THIS HELPED!
