I would guess because for a guy, having a kid isn't as big a deal as being pregnant is for being a woman. It is, after all, the most important function of a member of the species to breed. Women are at the center of this, not men, for a population to occur, a species needs only one male. That may be wired into our heads, too. We're kind of the expendable members of our race. Its a tough pill to swallow, but its true, and maybe that lack of a burden brings out a lack of seriousness in us. Yeah, so birth is hard, but its not like they're a victim for God's sake. Its the price, a mitigation for a child of your own.
Besides, what's nine months of cheap physical pain and awkwardness when it makes everyone around you have to be pleasant with you? Again, pregnant women aren't victims. You want to talk about victims? How's 18 years of child support sound? We don't get any slack from that ****. Anyone out there ever had a woman try to get child support for a kid that wasn't his? There's a victim worth fawning over.

Women don't do anything if they think it's funny, with exception of telling a joke. They want to be taken serious all the time, like a man who can't get it up. Maybe if women had the stick, and they were incharge of the production they would see the humor.

If you had to carry the bastard inside you for 9mos., you' prolly take it pretty seriously too! For us it's a couple minutes of sweat, couple seconds of pleasure and on to the next thing. Imagine if it were possible for her to plant something in your tweeter that would grow into a grapefruit everytime you did it, might take a little of the fun outta it.
