If you have, how was it? Like was it scary, or not at all, cuz I was wondering if it's worth spending $10 for

Save your money and rent it when it comes out.

Nope... in my old-age, I've become a NetFlix customer... it's cheaper, there's no need to travel to theater, and I can pause the film if I need a potty-break.

I've read books regarding the murder, and it sounds very interesting... but I'll wait for the DVD.

I have great THX sound, a large screen, a microwave for popcorn, and can sprawl on my couch...

The ONLY films I've got to see in a theater in the last 5 yrs were the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, the Star Wars episodes, and the Harry Potter flicks.
