my guys sun is Pisces and his Ascendant (rising) is Scorpio
he has many many strong scorpian traits! i'm thinkin hes more scorpio than pisces!

It would be normal for you to see most of his Scorp traits. A persons ascendant is the sign that refelects a persons outward demeanor. It determines how people on the outside view them.

I am a pisces Rising Scorpio , born february 24 th.
I was a real pisces in my younger years ( like a tropical fish ! Ha.Ha.Ha., and in my mature years I became more of a barracuda because the scorpio took over and the time of the doormat was over ! ( smile ) Since those are two water signs I am very influenced by the moon. I love moonlight and am fascinated by it !
I dream a lot when the moon is full but I don't turn into a werewolf ! LOL.
I like things to be clear but I am very private myself. Some think I am mysterious and I like unusual people. I make friends very easily and keep them for the longest time. Cancer people attract me. My best friends are cancer.
I am no angel but I am loyal to my friends. There yoiu are dear heart , you got it from the pisces mouth so to speak.

Rising signs control one's appearance and illnesses to which one is prone, not his personality. Many indications in a horoscope outweigh the Sun sign. He may have several strong planets in Scorpio, but the effect is different than having Sun in Scorpio. We all have many influences in our horoscopes. One cannot say anything without doing a mature chart based upon the exact time, date, month and place of birth. If you aren't a trained astrologer, your analysis of anyone has no basis. He may have other planets in Scorpio or in Fixed signs. Add up the Elements and Signs and see what type of overview the chart has. For instance, if he has 5 planets in Water signs and 6 in Fixed signs, he may have an emotional and stubborn personality.
There are many aspects to a chart to decipher.

I have the same situation. The older one gets the more the rising sign shows its tendencies.
That's a hard one to describe for me because it is me! lol! We are normally very good natured and etheral in our outlook on things, mixed in with some very anal tendencies. Have a fairly even temperment. But, when we feel boxed in or trapped in a situation we come out fighting. Don't like to be pinned down by force. We really need to know that our mate loves and needs us more than most I think. To be ignored is the worst for us. When we feel unloved and not desired it kills us. Sex is very important and appreciated. A spontaneous quickie outdoors is great for our kinky side! Let me know if I hit it right or not! We can be extremely stubborn too. And straightforward...like the "you can't handle the truth" type stuff.
