Arguments that many people use to justify warrantless wiretaps and searches are "if you don't have anything to hide, then why does it bother you", and "only criminals or terrorists would oppose it". I don't know about you but I like privacy, specially without having the Govt. at any given time tap my communications or come to my house unanounced and begin searching. How hard is it to get a warrant if you have the evidence of crime or terrorism?

Those arguments is always specious as you never know what information they have, how it is being twisted, and what they are going to really do with it! Whether I have anything to hide is not material! What is material that it is against the 4th Amendment and we are not under martial law!

It is difficult to get a warrant if you have no probable cause, which is why people must get warrants! For those who would have the 4th Amendment gutted, it is easy because NOTHING is required, as outlined in the Constitution!

I have nothing to hide, but I take my freedoms seriously! My father fought for them in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. I did as well in Vietnam! There are millions of dead Americans who gave their lives defending the Constitution, and then there are those who are willing to give up those we have fought for on the basis of an argument that only fascist use!
