Student loans never die. If you get a default judgement-- or a judgement against you-- they can freeze your accounts when you're 30 or 90.

Depends on if that loan was taken from the bank where your banking account is held at. For instance, you have a checking account at Citibank as well as a student loan from Citibank.

If its a Gov't loan, make sure your payments are not late, because that will heavily affect your credit score.

yeah, probably especially if you were supposed to start paying it off and you havent yet and its been awhile. you have to start making payments 6 months after you graduate.
